Q : Am I allowed to install a Chalet-Chic on my lot?
A : Chalet-Chic cottages™ are built to meet and exceed building code standards. There should be no problem installing the model of your choice on your lot. However, please verify with your municipality whether the FunBOXX 1 model respects the minimum dimensions. If necessary, you can add an annex (vestibule or summer dining area) to meet the required width.

Q : How much does one of these cottages cost?
A : The starting price for a FunBOXX 1 model delivered to a lot located within a 250-km radius of our plant is $97,500. The FunBOXX 2 basic model costs $135,000. Added to this price is the cost of the options you choose, based on the price list in effect.

Q : How can I determine the final cost of my cottage?
A : Once you have filled out and returned your information sheet, an authorized representative will contact you to help you determine your specific needs. He will then be able to give you an overall price for your project.

Q : What remains to be done after my cottage is delivered?
A : Chalet-Chic cottages are 100% factory-finished. While your cottage is being manufactured, you must lay the foundation on the lot. Then all we have to do is finish the roof on site.

Q : Is it possible to buy a turnkey Chalet-Chic?
A : Yes, this is possible in most parts of Quebec. Please make this specification when filling out your information sheet. We can even offer Chalet-Chic ready lots.

Q : Can I contract this project myself?
A : Most of our clients opt for this cost-effective solution. In this case, we provide you with the technical support you need to simplify the preparation work.

Q : Can the basic plan be modified?
A : Our cottages are factory-built on an assembly line. Our production volume allows us to offer you the best quality in the industry at the best price. Though some modifications are possible, you will be charged a fair price for the requested changes.

Q : What type of foundation is required for my cottage?
A : Our cottages are built to be installed on any type of foundation; metal piles bored into the ground (most economic solution), concrete piles, crawl space or basement.

Q : Is mortgage financing available?
A : Chalet-Chic cottages comply with all building code standards. Your project qualifies for conventional capital financing, provided that your personal situation meets lenders’ criteria.

Q : I am planning a project using several of your cottages. Am I entitled to a volume discount?
